Hatteras Maritime Center –

“A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor” – Challenges and adversity are necessary for developing true skill and resilience. If ever there were to be a Private Educational Program, Cape Hatteras would definitely produce skilled sailors. Conditions are ripe to make this happen in 2025.   If you would like to make this great vision become reality, please step up!  We need your support right now!

professional degrees

What types of programs and curriculum could we offer and who would be our target market? Broadening the scope of the programs is not mutually exclusive to our current mission for Youth Training Programs.  In fact it is highly complimentary.  Maritime disciplines are always better absorbed and appreciated when accompanied with actual on-the-water experience.  Filling the dance card is the secret to sustainability.  With the right facility and location, there really is no restriction on who we could serve.  Here are some possibilities.
