How should you find a captain to move your boat?
Originally licensed in 1992 to run his first Catamaran Daysail Charter Business, Captain Jay has made all aspects of sailing his life’s passion. He has operated and managed all sizes, kinds and types of boats, from 97′ Browards, to 85′ Luxury Charter Catamarans, Harbor Tour Boats in downtown Annapolis and even Sport Fishing Charters from Marco Island in the Bahamas and Florida Keys. As an Owner of a Yacht Charter Management Company, Phillips learned even more how hard it was to find competent Captains that understood, not only how to safely operate boats, but manage their ongoing maintenance along the way. Currently as a Boat Builder and Designer, Jay is keen on full understanding of the boats he operates. If you want your yacht successfully and competently managed, operated, chartered, or delivered–you will be hard pressed to find anyone more capable and experienced. Jay is a great navigator and sailor with years of solo ocean deliveries under his belt and probably close to 200,000 logged sea miles. Whether it is an Offshore Carbon Fiber Racing boat, or a Commercial Shrimper, or a Luxury Megayacht with 10 crew to manage, Capt. Jay can handle it.
