Hatteras Cup – Learn To Sail Series
Learn High Performance Catamaran Sailing aboard 2 identical Stiletto-27 Catamarans in 4 consecutive weekends of sailing. In addition to basic sailing principles like points of sail, wind indicators, and boat handling, this series will teach the intricacies of sailing fast in close quarters while under control. The final match race is a great way to test the skills you learn against your fellow classmates and presents a fun finale to the series.
The 5th Saturday, we’ll put it all together and race the two boats in a short match racing series.

Description
Each Saturday from 9am-1pm, we will begin with a chalk talk focused on a set of the knowledge points, sail scrimmages as we learn to sail, and return to the dock for a de-brief Q&A session wherein we will reflect on what we learned and experienced out on the water.

Terms & Conditions
Series cancellation: Refunds will be made if the series is cancelled for lack of enrollment. Minimum of 6 sailors; Maximum of 8 sailors;
Weather Policy: If we cannot sail due to weather, sessions will be rescheduled at the discretion of Phillips Boatworks.
Sailor Cancellation: Tuition is non-refundable in all other instances, but a store credit could be possible if a sailor must cancel for personal reasons. Partial credits are not available.
